HAAA Highlights May 26, 2025

Hello everyone,

We had a fantastic May General Meeting with 45 people in attendance!
A huge thank you to Yachiyo Beck for her amazing watercolor demo — it was truly inspiring. We also experimented with a new IT setup, projecting the demo via Zoom for seated attendees, and it worked well! We're exploring the possibility of inviting Yachiyo back to teach a watercolor class for HAAA this fall — stay tuned.

A special moment from the meeting: Carolyn Foster introduced Evelyn Adams, our 2025 Student Scholarship Winner — congratulations, Evelyn!

Thank you to everyone who completed the HAAA Member Survey! We've summarized the results at the May meeting and have already begun implementing your suggestions.

One big change: Starting July, our general meetings will now begin at 6:30 PM to better accommodate members' schedules.

🖌️ New Logo Contest!

Lynn Shirk introduced the exciting news about HAAA’s upcoming Logo Contestat the last meeting.

A detailed letter with all the guidelines, deadlines, and submission info will be coming your way soon — so keep an eye on your inbox!
