🎨 Correction on Date – HAAA Friday Plein Air
Our first Friday Plein Air session kicks off this Friday, May 2,from 9 AM to 12 Noon at:
📍 Shank Park, near the red barn
781 Bullfrog Valley Rd
Hummelstown, PA 17036
This is an informal meet-up for drawing and painting in any medium—no instructors, just creative time with peers. Parking is near the barn. If you’re not on the email list for future site locations, you can share your email with Wendy Craig that day.

Submit JPEGs of your 2D artwork to Stephanie or Lynda for display at Penn State Health. If you’ve already registered but haven’t received a confirmation, email me and I’ll forward your message to Stephanie.
Artfest – May 10
📝 Registration Deadline: Monday, May 5
HAAA will have three tent spaces for artists to sell 2D and 3D work—join over 100 vendors!

Big thanks to Paul Gallo (oil painting) and Marie Gamon(watercolor) for continuing to offer high-quality classes to HAAA members and the public throughout the year. Their current classes run strong through mid-May!
Are you interested in forming a group that would meet on Saturday morning for informal Plenair? You could use the same location as the Friday group or choose a different location. Let me know if you are interested.
🛍️ New Opportunity: Makers Market at Hershey History Center
We’ve been offered a FREE space at the Makers Marketon the grounds of the Hershey History Center—a great chance to show and sell your work!
📅 Tentative Dates:
Saturday, July 20 OR
Saturday, August 17
We’re looking for 3–5 artists to collaborate and share the space. You’ll have access to HAAA’s art display racks, and just need to arrange for borrowing a tent. This is a wonderful community event and a fun way to connect with local art lovers!
