Member Survey Results & Updates

Thank you to everyone who completed the HAAA Member Survey! We've summarized the results at the May meeting and have already begun implementing many of your suggestions. One big change: Starting July, our general meetings will now begin at 6:30 PM to better accommodate members' schedules.

We had a fantastic May General Meeting with 45 people in attendance! A special moment Carolyn Foster introduced Evelyn Adams, our 2025 Student Scholarship Winner — congratulations, Evelyn! And a huge thank you to Yachiyo Beck for her amazing watercolor demo — it was truly inspiring. We also experimented with a new IT setup, projecting the demo via Zoom for seated attendees, and it worked well!

upcoming Haaa Art shows

Old Annville Day - Saturday, June 14

Near LVC, two artist tents will be available. Co-Chairs: Wendy Craig & Mary Lott. Fun, food, music, art, and vendors galore!
Artist setup/teardown required. Submission Deadline is June 7. Go to Current Events for show details.

Two HAAA Library Gallery Rotations -

Our long running Hershey Library Gallery Room rotation, rotates every two months. A Highlight this month: Art from Sehgal’s Gouache classes are highlighted on one of the walls. The next rotation is Sat. june 21, 2025 from 10 to 10:30 am. This rotation will run through August 9, 2025 (2 months).
The next Community Room, Big Art Rotation is May 31, thru Nov 29, 2025. this space is reserved for Big Art. The room is set up to display larger art sizes of 30’ x 36’ or larger. Our current rotation is now on display until May 31. Be sure to check it out next time your at the library.
