UNDER THE COLORS, our annual Fall Members Art Show, returns this October! This is a wonderful opportunity for all HAAA members in good standing to showcase, exhibit, and sell their original artwork.
PEOPLE'S CHOICE VOTING: The public and HAAA members will vote for their favorite three artists of 2D and 3D artwork. The three top vote-getters will each receive FREE 2027 HAAA membership!
TWO WAYS TO EXHIBIT:
1. Long-Term Exhibit – 2 Months (HAAA Hallway Gallery)
2D hanging artwork only
Bring artwork: Thursday, October 22, 2–3 PM
Artwork will remain on display through December 12
2. Short-Term Exhibit – 2-Day Show
2D hanging art on display racks within the library
There will also be tables available for 3D artwork and greeting cards.
Bring artwork: Thursday, October 22, 2–5 PM
Exhibit dates: Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24
Registration Deadline: October 17, 2026
GENERAL GUIDELINES
Each artist may submit 1–3 pieces of original artwork. No prints or giclées.
Artwork must have been completed 2020–present. Depending on participation, we may increase the number of pieces allowed.
Hanging artwork must be properly wired. Please see the HAAA Show Guidelines at hersheyart.org → Resources → Art Shows.
HAAA will provide description tags for you to complete with the title, medium, artist's name, and price. The listed price should include price + sales tax = final price.
Several artists will be selected to assist with setting up the display racks on October 22 between 1 and 2 pm.
On Saturday, October 24 at 4:30 PM, all artists are asked to help tear down the standing exhibit display racks. (Artwork in HAAA's Hallway Art Gallery will remain there until December 12.)
All exhibiting artists will be asked to work a 2–3 hour shift at the cashier/checkout table on Friday or Saturday. We will need approximately 3–4 people per shift to cover checkout, greeting visitors in HAAA's Hallway Art Gallery, and monitoring the display racks.
Artists selling artwork must have a valid PA Sales Tax License.
Artists will remit 20% of all sales to HAAA to benefit the HAAA Scholarship Fund.
HAAA and the Hershey Public Library are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to artwork.
HAAA reserves the right to photograph artwork for press information or exhibit cataloging.
By exhibiting, members acknowledge that they have read and agreed to HAAA's General Information and Policy Statement, available at hersheyart.org.
Additional information regarding event logistics will be provided to participating artists before the show.
